HD has decades of experience in the selection and design of borehole pumps and deep well systems. Equipment selection is based on the specific conditions of each case – such as the depth to the water table, flow rate requirements, temperature, and the composition of the fluid.

HD offers shaft pumps which have proven to be exceptionally reliable, particularly in district heating systems. Over 120 such solutions are now in daily use across the country.

We also offer self-priming deep-well pumps for hot and cold water and geothermal water – everything from solutions for smaller supplies to powerful, high-voltage pumps with high efficiency and virtually unlimited depth capabilities.

Circulating pumps are used where a constant flow must be ensured in heating systems, cooling systems and other closed circuits, both with fresh water and seawater. They are particularly well-suited for the fishing industry, industrial applications and public utilities where energy efficiency and reliability are important.

HD offers from trusted manufacturers such as Special Purchase Programme and Calpeda, and provides professional advice on the selection and adaptation to systems and operating conditions.

So-called Mono pumps They take their name from the manufacturer Mono (NOV Mono), an internationally renowned manufacturer. Mono pumps are screw pumps that are particularly well-suited for pumping viscous, dense or contaminated fluids with a constant and controlled flow rate – where conventional pump types are not up to the task.

Monobloc pumps are widely used in the food industry, aquaculture, wastewater, chemical processing and energy-related activities, including the oil and gas industry. They are known for their reliability and good durability.

HD holds the exclusive agency for Nov Mono in Iceland and provides professional advice on implementation, material selection and maintenance for complex and demanding pump projects.

HD offers powerful paddle pumps from Haarslev, specially designed for the transport of whole, chopped or cooked fish.

The pumps are robust, durable and particularly well-suited for transporting raw materials with low fluid volumes and large particles. They deliver a consistent pressure over long distances – up to 200 metres – without damaging the raw material.

Three sizes are available: HM25, HM35 and HM45, with a throughput of 3 to 200 tonnes per hour, depending on size and rotational speed. Despite their high capacity, the pumps are energy-efficient and more cost-effective to operate than conventional conveying systems.

HD also ensures reliable service, with regular stocking of key components and wear parts to reduce repair and downtime.

HD offers progressive cavity pumps from the Italian manufacturer Calpeda in a variety of sizes for a wide range of uses – from holiday homes to ships and factories.

For demanding conditions in marine and industrial environments, the pumps are available in AISI 316 stainless steel, which provides excellent corrosion protection and a long service life.

We also offer cost-effective and reliable solutions for smaller systems and holiday homes, where simple maintenance and reliable operation are important.

Ydra, Model K is a powerful filleting pump, particularly well-suited for smolt and salmon without pre-filleting. The wheel is equipped with specially designed blades that ensure efficient processing and production of high-quality fish flesh.

The pump has an integrated grinder and is designed to combine crushing and conveying without damaging the raw material. This makes it particularly suitable for fishmeal processing and other processing operations where a balance between throughput and gentle handling is key.
